Abstract
Time is perhaps the only "quantity" fundamental to all the systems - physical, chemical, cosmological, mathematical, biological and many more - and at the same time vital.Being part of all these systems and as an additional dimension, it aids in understanding of various metrics/features associated with them. However,a deeper analysis of its nature has been ignored, always being treated as more of an auxiliary device. The current essay deals with the analysis of its nature in the context of entropy, synchronization, measurement; not just by presenting a set of theories but also by justifying them appropriately at several levels.Justification of the title of this essay has been done in the end. Finally,a motif which unites all of them has been provided to highlight the invariant nature of time.
