Abstract
The essay attempts to determine the physical meaning of the de Broglie wavelength and the Heisenberg uncertainty relation based on the assumption that elementary particles may have a dense core with a diameter equal to the Compton wavelength of these particles. The essay also pointed out the basic principles of what may be waived in fundamental physics, if this assumption is confirmed experimentally.
