Abstract
We show, that the model of an analog reality leads to paradoxes. Two simple examples demonstrate this. The first example shows, that the length of two straight lines in our everyday world cannot be compared, even with the most sophisticated intruments. The second example deals with areas of rectangles in our world and shows, that they also cannot be compared. These paradoxes show, that the digital assumption is a more adequate description of reality.
