How Quantum is Life?

Relativity was a huge hit to predictability. Time was now dependent on velocity and an absolute zero for velocity is hard to find. Everything is moving relative to something else and our energy based universe lost its foundation. Energy is inverse time (E=hv) but there are many conflicting theories regarding time. Confidence in science is also being shaken by difficulties in cosmology regarding dark matter and dark energy. Relativity, of course, is correct but the author’s mass model of the proton provides new insight into how nature creates and accounts for energy. In the model, energy is created through an information based separation process. Mass plus kinetic energy is equal and opposite field energy (E-E=0). No one can doubt the famous Einstein relativity equation E^2= M^2+(PC)^2= E^2. But the model adds another equality; the right hand side total field energy E^2. A component of the constant right hand side field energy allows the gravitational constant to be calculated and appears to define space and time. This suggests that time throughout the universe is everywhere the same. But relativity is proven and accepted universally. This conflict allows us to learn something new about how nature accounts for energy. There is no doubt that space is curved and orbiting bodies follow the curvature but mass alone is the primary effect. The famous light and train thought experiment, gravitational time shift, flat galaxy rotation curves, black holes, gravitational lensing and Hubble’s constant are discussed.
