Abstract. The remarkable discoveries by physicist is discussed along with an investigation that tries to find answer of why they really were fundamental. This paper is looking for of how they affected Human thinking - and inspired mankind - to try to find the next fundamental layers in the infinite Universe. This essay wants to find an answer of what could be considered - according to our today's knowledge - that would answer these questions. Key words: Universe, fundamental, infinite.
