Abstract
The question is what is fundamental about fundamental? Does fundamental mean an explanation of the tiniest vibration/sub-quark/god-particle of the universe? In this paper, some mundane examples of fundamental issues are examined to see if there is something common under the hood. This author expected to see something extraordinary appear. Instead, something simple appeared that, to this author, makes a fundamental operationally valuable.
