Abstract
Purpose arose with the beginning of plant life. Aims and intentions didn’t arise until the brain could imagine a future and envision a way to achieve that future. Many evolutionary advances occurred between these two events. While physical behavior has to follow the mindless mathematical laws, the content of the imagination doesn’t. Moreover, an information dimension exists as part of our universe where information is stored and accessed. Instincts are how many animals access it. While mankind has limited access, the benefits of this information dimension are that it can supply new information, enhance our imagination and influence our aims and intentions.
