FQxI's Jen Eisert, one of the recent grant-winners in our Information as Fuel program, and colleagues have published a new paper in Nature Communications. The paper involves calibrating Google's Sycamore chip and has implications for building analog quantum simulators.
On Twitter/X, Eisert wrote: "Now we have a method to learn Hamiltonians ultra-precisely in the presence of noise and imperfections, so that one can equip #analogquantumsimulators with more predictive power."
